Biography

Charlene earned a Bachelor of Science in Technology (BS) from the University of Houston, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Kaplan University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude, and a Master of Science in Nursing graduating with honors, Summa Cum Laude from Purdue University. She also is a licensed aesthetician and incorporates skincare in her practice.  Charlene is a registered nurse in the State of Texas as well as a cosmetic nurse injector. Her experience includes PACU (recovery room), PAT (preadmissions), and aesthetic procedures.

Charlene has been active in advanced training with multiple resurfacing and tightening lasers including the Waterlase, Lase MD, Sylfirm, and IPL/FotoFacial. She regularly treats her patients with these resurfacing and collagen stimulating lasers that work synergistically with Neurotoxins (Botox) and fillers.

Charlene is a respected trainer in her field and is frequently commissioned to train nurse injectors, as well as training on laser use and TCA skin peels. In her dedication to continuing education and teaching in her career, Charlene often participates in Galderma, Revance, and Allergan’s “Master Classes” along with other local registered nurses, nurse practitioners, and physicians.

To offer her patients a leading edge on industry news, techniques, products, and treatments Charlene regularly participates in educational symposiums and training locally and nationally. This has included human cadaver workshops which enables in depth visual accuracy.  Also, Charlene employs blunt cannula injections that produces less swelling and trauma. What this means for her patients is the blunt tip cannula minimizes potential bruising and swelling during and after treatment vs. the sharp tip of a needle.  In addition, she remains state of the art by participating in advanced PDO collagen and thread lift training with specialists from around the world. This allows her to provide her patients with the very latest treatments and with the highest level of products.

Patient care, experience of over 25 years, and customer service are the areas that propel Charlene above and beyond local practitioners.  Her quick wit and southern charm make her a favorite in Houston.

I find joy by doing almost any outdoor activity, including hiking, running, and exploring with our furbabies. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also strive to live mindfully and intentionally by creating uplifting routines and relaxing rituals.
